Certaines créations sont comme une halte, une pause dans l'espace-temps. Marla Van Horn, tout en ayant un style reconnaissable, une marque de fabrique, arrive à se renouveler sans cesse : IKUISESTI ne le démontre que trop bien. Restant fidèle au drone qu'elle exécute à merveille — "SYMUSTA" ou "HÄMÄRÄ" et sa guitare vibrante —, elle s'applique à créer un dark ambiant magnifique qui n'a rien à envier aux maîtres du genre, surtout sur la conclusion de l'album. La voix de MVH est paradisiaque.
